The Northern Virginia Leadership Awards are given annually to talented community leaders and organizations who have made a significant impact on Northern Virginia through volunteerism and community engagement in the following categories: COVID-19 Hero, Regional Leadership; Trustee Leadership; Non-Profit Leadership; Corporate Leadership; and Educational Leadership.

EVERY SPRING
Leadership Fairfax brings together Fairfax County and regional leaders for a conversation with the newly elected Board of Supervisors on the state of the county. We also present the Katherine Hanley Public Service Award, which recognizes individuals who work for Fairfax County or serve on a Fairfax Board, Authority or Commission. We complete each program year with a joint commencement celebration for our Emerging Leaders Institute and Leadership Fairfax Institute cohorts. Held outdoors at Reston Town Center we feature a distinguished keynote speaker and present the Torchbearer Awards to alumni volunteers who have gone above and beyond in their support of Leadership Fairfax.
