COMMUNITY ISSUE RESEARCH AND FINDINGS

LFI will investigate four to five current issues in important community issue topic areas, focusing on one or two County Districts, annually. Research is conducted by our senior and executive level leaders participating in the LFI Signature Program. The research emphasizes the causes, effects, historical impact and future implications of the assigned issue in Fairfax County. The researchers interview and collaborate with subject matter experts from business, nonprofits and government to compile a comprehensive report on the state of the issues and present a half day educational experience to the LFI cohort so they may begin to understand issues facing the county.
